I am a lawyer and I handle the types of cases I handle because I like to help people. In workers' compensation, Social Security, and personal injury claims, I work on behalf of people who have sustained injuries or disabilities that severely impact their lives and well being. I work with them in an effort to maximize their recovery and help them move on with their lives in a positive direction. I find great satisfaction in winning and resolving cases on behalf of clients so they can do just that. In the context of contract based and general civil litigation cases, I am likewise working on behalf of clients to address difficult situations in their lives. I therefore seek the best result possible to protect each client's interests so those circumstances can be put behind them. Finally, on a more general level, I believe that our system of law, while not perfect, is a necessary instrument for protection of people in our society and our way of life, and a mechanism for positive change on behalf of people whose resources are limited.
