Taylor Lawrence Grooms was born and raised in Berkeley County in Bonneau, S.C. He attended Berkeley County public schools from grades K-12, and is an Honor Graduate of Timberland High School. After Timberland, Taylor attended Clemson University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
