Krystal is the daughter of a retired Army pilot and has spent her entire life in and around the military. She earned a business degree from Nichols College in 2005, and her law degree from Rogers Williams Law School in 2008. Krystal became an Alabama state attorney in 2009 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps in 2009 and graduated with honors from the Naval Justice School in 2011.
