Eric is a native of Columbus, Ohio, and has lived in Louisville since graduating from New York Law School in 2003. His wife, Shelley Thomas, is an associate professor with the University of Louisville. Eric and Shelley have two children, Anneliese and Brennan. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Indiana University Southeast where I was named Outstanding Student in Political Science for the academic year 1985-86. I graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1989 after receiving a law scholarship.
