A native Coloradan, I was born and raised in Boulder where I attended Fairview High School. In 2001, I graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in History. My first assignment was at Vance Air Force Base in Enid Oklahoma.
