She has been certified in advanced domestic mediation and conflict resolution with a focus on marital property issues, custody, visitation and child support since 2015, in civil mediation since 2009, and collaborative law since 2007. In 2014 Susan was elected a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation in recognition of her outstanding dedication to the welfare of her community, the administration of justice, and the traditions of the profession of law. In 2009, she was admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
