After receiving Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees from Cornell University, Steve Kleiner moved to Delaware to work for the Dupont Company as an internal consultant. While at Dupont, he was appointed by the Governor as private industry representative to the State of Delaware Telecommunications Committee. Steve was promoted to management at Dupont, and later worked in senior management for high technology companies.Steve graduated Magna Cum Laude from Widener University School of Law (Delaware), where he was an editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, and is admitted to practice in Delaware and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.He has been honored to serve on the board of trustees of Delaware non-profit organizations, has worked, pro bono, for a federal district judge on matters of complex litigation and has handled estate planning matters for senior citizens and veterans as a Volunteer Attorney for Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, Inc.Steve is a current or former member of the the Trust and Estates, Elder Law and Real and Personal Property sections of the Delaware State Bar Association, the Real Property, Trusts and Estates section of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Benjamin Franklin Inn of Court, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and other professional associations.
