A native of Harlem, Columbia County, Georgia, Sheila Grider Wahman graduated from Harlem High School and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Augusta University. Sheila worked in various fields in the corporate sector until in 2000 when she became a Columbia County Sheriff?s Deputy and then a Magistrate Judge for Columbia County. Finding passion of and many years experience in the law, Sheila decided to purse a law degree and received her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School. She began work as an attorney with Fleming and Nelson LLP of Evans handling governmental law.
