I earned a Bachelor?s and Master?s degree in Psychology from Boston University, but I was inspired to pursue a career in law. While attending the University of Colorado School of Law, I explored different practice areas by working in a Family Law Clinic and Criminal Defense Clinic. After graduating from law school, I began my practice by working in employment litigation. These cases provided me with valuable experience in handling complex issues and negotiations between multiple parties with aggressive agendas. But it was not until I went through my own difficult divorce, that I developed a passion for family law. Today, I realize that my own personal journey has allowed me to employ my background in psychology, which helps me to understand my clients who are going through challenging transitions, and my experience in employment litigation has helped me to craft effective solutions between contesting parties. Drawing upon my personal experience in family law has helped me to fulfill my clients? needs in the most painless and beneficial way possible. My clients can depend on my compassion and my legal knowledge to lead them to the best solutions. View More ?
