Samantha Embry is a solo practitioner at Embry Legal LLC, a client focused law firm. Her practice concerns itself with helping individuals recover from unexpected events and protecting individuals from unfair trade and unethical ways of doing business. This includes protection from predatory lending, unfair debt collection and credit reporting practices, product liability claims and personal injury claims. Her areas of practice are criminal law, personal injury, and consumer law. Prior to graduating law school, she worked in the Insurance Industry for almost fifteen years handling personal injury claims including bodily injury litigation in automobile cases and insurance defense. As a claims adjuster, Samantha worked for major insurance companies including State Farm Insurance, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and Zurich Insurance. She has experience in both personal and commercial lines of insurance. Samantha has volunteered with Fulton County Casa as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children, the Shah Law Firm on criminal cases and with the Atlanta Volunteer Legal Foundation representing clients in landlord/tenant disputes. Additionally, she is a founding member of the Student?s Law Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Mrs. Embry is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Gwinnett County Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, the American Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorney?s. She earned her J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was President of the American Constitution Society. She is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.
