I left my native texas to study economics at Purdue University and graduated in 2010 with honors. After college, I attended Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas and graduated in February 2014. In law school, I competed in the National Health Care Law Moot Court competition and successfully made break out of 30 teams across the country. I also competed on the Transactional Law Meet team. Both of these competitions sharpened my advocacy skills I continue to use in my practice. During my first summer of law school, I interned with the Honorable Judge McFarland in the 133rd District Court in Houston, and the internship taught me insights relating to the courtroom I rely on still. Before joining The Walters Law Firm, I worked at a defense litigation firm in Houston on cases involving serious personal injuries.
