Richard focuses his practice on personal injury cases, as well as representing individuals who have been injured at work. In addition to his personal injury practice, Richard also handles labor law matters. Richard represents the Independent Employees Union at Hillshire Farm Company, Inc., the Banta Book Group Maintenance Department, and Local Union 78T: Voith Fabrics. Richard?s working knowledge and understanding of municipal laws and codes along with his trial experience and comfort in the courtroom served him well in his role as the lead prosecutor and Town Attorney for a prominent local municipality for over 20 years.Richard has handled complex litigation matters in front of both the Wisconsin Supreme Court and Wisconsin Court of Appeals, including oral arguments in front of each court. He was appointed by the Wisconsin Supreme Court to serve three terms on the District Committee of the Office of Lawyer Regulation, which oversees the ethical and professional conduct of all attorneys admitted to practice within the State of Wisconsin.Richard has consistently been named a Wisconsin ?Super Lawyer? for years, placing him in the top 5% of all attorneys in Wisconsin.
