I have been a trial attorney since 1997, including a term as a Judge for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas and most recently as a municipal prosecutor. My legal career has been dedicated to representing individuals and families facing uphill battles against unfair odds. With Eadie Hill, I am able to apply my skills to taking on health care providers who cause injury and suffering to individuals at nursing homes or assisted living facilities.22 years of practice has educated me to the fact that the faceless corporations that operate health-care facilities far too often place profit margins above patient care. My role at Eadie Hill is to hold those corporations accountable for their actions.Fighting to make things right is something that comes naturally to me. Our region and nation are presently in the grip of an opiate crisis that, in my opinion, was primarily created by pharmaceutical corporations and their marketing of painkillers. While on the bench I initiated a series of educational forums that focused on getting information and assistance regarding the crisis to the general public. I was able to educate over 20,000 people through presentations at libraries, community centers, schools and organizations in Northeast Ohio.On a personal note, I am an avid runner. In 2012, I weighed over 300 pounds and decided that enough was enough. I took it upon myself to get outside every day and went from huffing and puffing through a mile to running six half-marathons and consistently winning age-group medals in various local races. You can find me running or biking through the Metroparks or the Cuyahoga Valley National Park any given day of the week. View More ?
