Summary

My legal practice is dedicated entirely to immigration law. I came to immigration law after working extensively with immigrant communities in the context of health education and community organizing. I started my legal career as a juvenile defense attorney with the Bronx Legal Aid Office in New York, and have since spent over 8 years practicing immigration law. I earned my Juris Doctor from City University of New York School of Law and my B.A. in Modern Languages from the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, PR.I am fluent in Spanish and am a member in good standing of the North Carolina State Bars, the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Mecklenburg County Bar.
