Lynne Wilson is a civil litigator who has practiced in Seattle for over 25 years. She focuses on civil rights, personal injury and appellate law in state and federal courts. She also performs litigation services for solo practitioners and law firms in a wide variety of other practice areas such as family, criminal, real estate, commercial, workers compensation, unlawful detainer, and employment. She graduated cum laude from Seattle University Law School in 1987 after previously working as a journalist for The Seattle Weekly. Since 1994, she has published numerous articles about police accountability and misconduct litigation in the Police Misconduct and Civil Rights Law Report, a bi-monthly Thomson Reuters publication. Long involved in community affairs, Ms. Wilson served on the ACLU-WA Legal Committee for ten years and most recently served on the Seattle City Council?s Police Accountability Panel. She serves as appointed counsel in federal prisoner civil rights cases and helps individuals clear criminal convictions to enable them to obtain housing and employment.
