My immediate family farms throughout New Mexico, West Texas and Oklahoma. In fact, my grandfather drove a tractor until the day that he passed at the ripe old age of 89. As they say where I?m from: "He died with his cowboy boots on."I was in my first semester of law school at that time, and the probate process was so traumatizing to my family that I was sure the attorney had committed malpractice. As it turned out, he did exactly what most probate attorneys do. I knew then that I could do much better, and I've been doing it ever since. I work relentlessly to plan for and guide families through a difficult process as quickly and easily as possible so that they can get back to what?s important: being with their loved ones. After my personal experiences with the loss of a loved one, I take great satisfaction in knowing that I am taking care of good people and avoiding the pitfalls that my family went through.
