Attorney Jordyn Janikowski is an associate at Axley and a member of the firm?s Business Practice Group. Her main areas of practice include general business, contract negotiation and drafting, business start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, limited liability companies, and succession planning.Prior to graduating cum laude from Marquette University Law School, Attorney Janikowski clerked with Axley for over a year. During her clerkship, she drafted bylaws, articles of incorporation, and estate planning documents. She also researched products liability law and potential defenses for component manufacturers as well as business improvement districts and applicable case law.With an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Attorney Janikowski is able to speak the language of her clients. She is adept at identifying and predicting issues before they happen and prioritizes efficient and prompt communication.Attorney Janikowski served as a legal volunteer for the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic where she assisted in providing legal advice on civil cases. In addition, she also volunteered with the Domestic Violence Injunctions Pro Bono Project, which involved preparing reports for law firms providing pro bono representation in relation to domestic violence.When not in the office, Attorney Janikowski enjoys camping trips with her fiancé and puppy. She also loves trying new recipes, exploring local breweries, and cozying up with a good book.
