Jessica holds a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Laws in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution from Washington University. In law school, she received several top advocacy awards including winning the championship in Washington University?s intramural moot court competition and being named the ?Best Speaker in the Competition? in a highly competitive national moot court competition. She also received a Cali Award in Arbitration, which is awarded to the student with the highest grade in the class.While completing her Master of Laws degree, Jessica interned for a judge in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri. She then worked as a civil litigation associate at a boutique maritime litigation firm, before turning her focus to public service work representing domestic violence victims. She started her own practice in 2019.
