She is the past Chair of the Family Law Specialization Committee of the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization and received the Howard L. Gum Service Award in 2008. She was elected to the Board of Law Examiners in 2007.Ms. Meyer is the past Chair of the Family Law Continuing Legal Education Curriculum Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association and is a frequent course planner and speaker at Continuing Legal Education programs throughout the state.
