James is a recent graduate from Lincoln Memorial University's Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee, graduating cum laude. While in law school, James served simultaneously as Associate Editor for the Law Review and Vice President of the Moot Court Board. He also served as a faculty research assistant. He competed in two Moot Court competitions, including the prestigious William B. Spong Moot Court Tournament, held at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mr. Lawrence holds a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He also lived and studied overseas at St. John's College of Durham University in Durham, England, where he studied Moral Philosophy, Systematic Theology, and Islamic Studies. James is an active member of the West Park Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he currently plays french horn as part of the music ministry and has served as a Sunday School Teacher. James' wife, Lara is a professional piano player and they have six children, ranging in age from ten to twenty-one. View More ?
