He has been in Hawaii since 1972, where he graduated from Roosevelt High School in Honolulu. Jim received a B.A. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1978, and a J.D. from the U.C.L.A. School of Law in 1981. Outside of work, Jim enjoys spending time with his family. In addition, he still takes on the challenge of big wave surfing and tow-surfing on Oahu?s North Shore.
