When it comes time to beat my friends on the golf course, my fiercely competitive spirit comes out, and I don?t lose.I graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Communications and earned my law degree with honors and M.B.A. from North Carolina Central University. While there, I was a member of the North Carolina Central Law Journal, graduated No. 1 in my M.B.A. class, and served as a teaching assistant for the business law classes at the School of Business.In my spare time, I serve on the executive board of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Statesville Development Corporation, Carolina Roots Music Fest, and Iredell County Republican Party. I am definitely a people-person, and I enjoy serving my community through these organizations.
