He handled a wide range of matters, from complicated medical malpractice cases involving catastrophic injuries to straightforward automobile accident cases. This experience gives Doug insight into how insurance companies defend against claims and lawsuits, which can be a significant advantage for his clients.Doug graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law, a top twenty-five law school. He was the recipient of the Booker and Betty Smith Law Scholarship and the prestigious Iowa Law School Foundation Merit Scholarship. Upon graduation, Doug served as a judicial law clerk for then Chief Judge Edwin H. Smith of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District.
