Miraldi chose the legal profession based on the example of his father, Ray L. Miraldi, a well-known and respected trial attorney in Lorain County for many years. David graduated from The College of Wooster where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In 1978, he graduated summa cum laude from the Ohio State University College of Law where he published several articles in the Ohio State Law Journal. Since then, David has been a member of Miraldi & Barrett where his practice includes not only negligence, product liability, and medical claims but litigation of insurance coverage disputes, employment termination claims, and insurance bad faith claims. He is a member and past president of the Lorain County Bar Association and has served on many bar association committees and lectured on a variety of topics. David is a member of The Ohio State Bar Association, The Cleveland Academy of Trial Lawyers, The Ohio Association for Justice, and The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. For many years, David has received the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbel, a company that bases its evaluations upon peer reviews. David has also been honored as an Ohio Super Lawyer in the practice area of plaintiff personal injury law. The Ohio Super Lawyer designation is limited to those attorneys considered to be in the top five percent in their practice field.
