Charity Wood is originally from Tennessee. She attended Vanderbilt University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology for her undergraduate studies.After witnessing unequal access to justice and want to help usher in change, she decided to attend Georgia State University College of Law. She was awarded the Dean's Scholarship. During her time studying at Georgia State University, she interned multiple organizations catering to underprivileged communities including the Georgia's Innocence Project and the Clayton County's Public Defender's Office. It was during these internships that she developed a strong sense for helping those in need. She graduated from Georgia State with high pro bono honors.During her final year of law school she began working with The Manely Firm. There she worked her way from a client care coordinator to law clerk, and now a family law attorney. She is a team player who invests herself in her client's needs throughout all of her roles at The Manely Firm. She participates in research, drafting, and trial preparation for numerous cases the firm litigates. With her zealous nature she is sure to be a tenacious advocate for her clients.
