Summary
I joined Richards Patent Law after earning my JD, cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School. While in law school, I spent two years working as a research assistant for Professor Mark McKenna, a leading scholar of intellectual property law and RPL attorney. Prior to law school I attended Northwestern University, where I graduated with honors from the Medill School of Journalism. I have experience working with patents, trademarks and copyrights, enforcing and defending trademark rights, responding to USPTO office actions, drafting and negotiating IP- and business-related contracts, preparing website privacy policies and terms of use, assisting clients with corporate formation issues, and conducting website domain name disputes. I am admitted to practice in Illinois.
