Carissa (Marquis) King practices primarily the areas of estate planning, probate administration, trust administration, and real estate transactions. Originally from Weatherford, Carissa is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), where she received a B.B.A. in Finance in 2008. She went on to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she was the recipient of a Top 20 Speaker award in the First Year Moot Court Competition and was named a Nathalie Pierrepont Comfort Scholar, a Thomas L. Hieronymus Memorial Fund scholar, an Oklahoma Bar Association Income Tax scholar, and was an Assistant Note Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review.Carissa and her husband, Garrett, are proud supporters of The Nature Conservancy. In their free time, you can find them attending SWOSU events and wrangling their two young daughters, Nellie and Margie.
