Angela specializes in estate planning, long-term care and disability planning, special needs trusts, and estate administration. Her clients range in age from the very young to those in their 90?s and beyond. Prior to joining STIB, Angela was a registered nurse and a litigation attorney. She joined the firm in order to work with Barbara Isenhour and Sean Bleck, both leaders in the field with decades of experience advising seniors and disabled individuals. Now a Member of the firm, Angela works to continue the firm?s tradition of competent and compassionate representation for every client at every stage of life.Angela has served as Adjunct Faculty at the Seattle University School of Law (her alma matter), where she most recently taught the Trusts and Estates course. She has also served as the supervising attorney in the Estate and Disability Planning Clinic, helping law students create complete estate plans for complex clients in the setting of the firm?s clinical program. She is a frequent guest lecturer for both law students and nursing students in a variety of courses. She is a mentor for the Seattle University School of Law Incubator Program, and enjoys sharing her love of legal advocacy with aspiring lawyers and health care professionals exploring legal careers.In addition to her practice and teaching, Angela serves on the Executive Committee of the Washington State Bar Association?s Elder Law Section. She is also on the Advisor Committee for the King County Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, and was herself a volunteer ombudsman in long-term care facilities before becoming a lawyer. She is a former Board member of the Washington Association for Justice and the King County Bar Association Young Lawyer?s Division Board of Trustees.
