The Guardian ad Litem Program represents the best interest of children in juvenile dependency cases involving abuse, abandonment and neglect. Ms. Appiah has been a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association, Clearwater Bar Association, Fred G. Minnis Bar Association, the Pinellas County Chapter of Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
