He attended high school at Archbishop Hoban in Akron, Ohio before entering the political science program at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. While at the university, Mr. Wartko was a member of the mock trial program and an executive council member of the Beta Iota chapter of Sigma Nu fraternity.
